<br />
I have my second post for the <b>#WNAC2015</b> (<b>Weekly Nail Art Challenge</b>) for August to share with you today.<br />
<br />
The prompt last week was Magenta & Navy, so I paired some really simple, abstract florals with the inspiration colors, and I'm really happy with how they turned out. You can view the tutorial at the end of the post if you'd like to learn how to recreate them! :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/20395304290/in/album-72157654271966224/" title="Untitled"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/764/20395304290_79451a8f80.jpg" width="500" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/20611497706/in/dateposted/" title="IMG_9308-"><img alt="IMG_9308-" height="470" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5708/20611497706_509c67e5dc_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I must say, I really love painting abstract or more "artistic / messy" florals like this. It's so much fun, and of course a lot quicker than my <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/04/wnac2015-april-pastel-spring-floral.html">extremely detailed ones</a>. For this design, I wanted to keep it very simple, so I only used 3 polishes plus the base color, and only jelly polishes for a more artsy appearance. I think this is probably the most simple floral I've ever done, and maybe one of my favorites!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I always pair my lips with my nails, and I love a good bright lipstick, so I went with one of my favorites, <b>Lime Crime Utopia</b>. It's the perfect match, I think! The rings are from Hautelook from a while back too. :)</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Hello everyone!</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have a selection of some beautiful <b>Ella+Mila</b> polishes, which were sent to me by the lovely retailer <b><a href="http://www.color4nails.com/">Color4Nails</a></b> to share with you all today!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I've never tried the brand <b>Ella+Mila</b> before, but it looks like they have a really great range of colors and finishes, and I was so impressed by the quality of the polishes, as well as the fact that they're 5-free. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Hopefully you'll enjoy the swatches as much as I enjoyed swatching them. :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Bags are Packed</b> (from the ELITE Collection) is a vivid cobalt blue jelly. This is surprisingly the least unique one of the bunch, but it's such a staple color in my collection, and it's done really well so I have no complaints! The formula is really great; since it's a jelly, it appears more sheer in photos since I have longer nails, but in person it looks perfect at two coats. It's extremely glossy as well, so I've shown it without top coat in the photo below. </div>

</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b>
<b>French Kiss</b> (from the BonBon Collection) is a peach crelly with subtle silver shimmer. Sadly, I only caught the shimmer in the bottle in my photos, but it is visible on the nails in person (in certain lighting), and a really nice addition to this color. I love pretty peach shades like this, and the formula is nice and smooth. I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photo below.</div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Lust in Love</b> (from the Love Collection) is a sheer off-white crelly with a pearly white shimmer. This is a really beautiful polish, especially if you like the look of a natural french manicure without any effort - plus the added shimmer is so nice. I found it made my white tips look even whiter, and you can wear this at one, two, or three coats as it's not streaky at all (I actually really like it with just one coat). I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photo below.<br />

</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b>
<b>Lilac Luster</b> (from the Love Collection) is a pastel lilac creme. This shade is to die for, and so is the formula. It's the prettiest, palest lilac, and if you're careful you could probably apply this in one coat. It's just lovely! I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photo below.<br />

The overall theme for the month is Summer, which is pretty broad, so I've decided it's probably going to be an entire month of florals! We came up with a bunch of color combos to create nail art with for the month, and the first pairing is "Lemon & Cherry" aka yellow & red. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I was going to create a really bright gradient base (because you all know how much I love gradient bases for florals, right?), but instead, I just decided to pair my yellow & red florals with a pretty pink base.</div>

<b><br /></b>
This should've gone up a few days ago, sorry! Regardless, this is my <b>July Nail Art Roundup</b> for the <b>#WNAC2015</b> (<b>Weekly Nail Art Challenge</b>)! The schedule for August (starting this Friday) is at the bottom of the post, if anyone is interested as well. :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

For July, our overall theme was <b>gradients</b>, which was pretty fun. Who doesn't love a good gradient? I may have skipped a prompt (don't judge me), but hopefully I'll make it up to you with my August nail art.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
First up, we used the <b>dry brush</b> technique. I don't really use this technique often, but it's so fun and simple to use, plus I always end up loving the sort of vintage inspired look it creates. I decided to start with a simple gradient base featuring one of my favorites Essie Too Taboo. I added a pastel pink and a clear polish so that it blended really well into my natural nail. For the dry brushing, I thought a gold chrome would be a really beautiful compliment, and I loved how they turned out. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Next up, we had <b>animal print</b>. My mind was totally uninspired during this week, but as I usually do when I'm uninspired, I had a look through my unused polishes. This peachy neon spoke to me, so I decided to create a white to peach gradient, then on top of the peach portion I added some tiny white leopard spots. I still thought this was a bit too basic, so at the last minute I added a larger gold print on top in a triangular shape, and I was pretty happy with them as well. </div>

<b>Geometric</b> was up next, which had me searching around Pinterest for prints and fun patterns to paint on my nails, of course. I found this black, white, and cobalt print, however that's not what ended up on my nails, but it did lend me some nice inspiration for this random pattern that came about as I was painting some grids on my nails. I wasn't quite happy with them, until I added the matte top coat, then I was in love.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Finally, I ended July with a <b>negative space</b> design. This was an interesting one because of the gradient theme. I also don't use tape and other tools very often, because it usually takes me longer to actually position and play around with the tape than it would if I just painted some lines by hand, crazy, I know! So, in this case, I placed a bunch of tape and liquid latex-ed off some of the areas (and around my nails) as it was necessary for the gradient (I still went back in later and hand painted the white details, because that's just how I am, of course).</div>

My lovely co-hosts (<a href="http://www.missbellatracey.com/">Tracey</a> & <a href="http://www.simplynailogical.com/">Cristine</a>), and I came up with some nice color combos to play around with, so hopefully it'll make for some interesting nail art.<br />

<b>Hi everyone!</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It's time for another new collection from <b><a href="http://www.glampolish.com.au/">Glam Polish</a></b> to drool over! This set of nine is called the <b>Under the Sea Collection</b> and they are available now. If you hadn't guessed by the name, this collection consists of eight gorgeous marine inspired holographic shades, with lots of microglitter, glass flecks, and shimmer, and one holographic microglitter polish. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
I won't write too much in the individual descriptions since these all have perfect two coat formulas, but it should be noted that these dry slightly textured because of the amount and variation of glitters, so you'll definitely need one or two coats of top coat for a smooth finish. I photographed all of these without topcoat, so they may look a bit bumpy. They're still equally gorgeous either way, though!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Oh Whale!</b> is a periwinkle crelly holo with holo microglitter, shimmer, and glass flecks. Such a gorgeous periwinkle with navy glitter that really stands out and subtle pink / purple shimmer.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Not on Porpoise</b> is a grey crelly holo with holo microglitter, shimmer, and glass flecks. The base is a lovely neutral grey, and the darker grey-black glitter gives such a cool effect. The holo really stands out in this one too.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Don't Play Koi With Me</b> is a light peach crelly holo with holo microglitter, shimmer, and glass flecks. This one has one of the strongest holo effects of the crellies, and it really glows with the gorgeous golden shimmer.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<b>Did You Catch That?</b> is an orchid crelly holo with holo microglitter, shimmer, and glass flecks. Such a stunning orchid shade with lots of darker pink-red holo glitter and light pink shimmer. Love!</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Get Otter Here!</b> is a violet crelly holo with holo microglitter, shimmer, and glass flecks. The bright purple base and bright blue holo glitter is such a unique combination. This one didn't photograph that well for me, but it's much lovelier in person.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
The retailer <a href="http://color4nails.com/"><b>Color4Nails</b></a> has very kindly provided me with their exclusive duo by <b>Cupcake Polish</b>, which is a brand I've never tried before (and now I'm wondering why!).<br />
<br />
The exclusive duo consists of two beautifully bright linear holos with added holographic glitter, which makes them so magical to look at, and even more sparkly than your average holo! What could be better, right?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19913454870/in/album-72157656492488391/" title="Color4Nails Exclusive Cupcake Polish Duo"><img alt="Color4Nails Exclusive Cupcake Polish Duo" height="400" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/436/19913454870_f051f39041.jpg" width="400" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Araminta</b> is a medium green linear holo (super strong!) with holographic glitter. I can't even with this one. The green base is so stunning, then the added holo glitter makes this truly spectacular! The formula was smooth and shiny, a bit jelly-like in texture, and only required a thin top coat. I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos below.</div>
<br />
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/20093624582/in/album-72157656492488391/" style="text-align: start;" title="Color4Nails Exclusive Cupcake Polish Duo"><img alt="Araminta - Color4Nails Exclusive Cupcake Polish Duo " height="427" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/493/20093624582_5a35a4c662_z.jpg" title="" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Koralie</b> is a bright, warm pink linear holo (with a strong coral tone), and holographic glitter. Such a gorgeous pink! The holo didn't photograph as strong for me since the color is lighter, however it is just as holo as Araminta in person. The base is a bit different though, more of a creamy metallic, which could easily cover in one coat. I don't think I have any holos in this unique shade of pink, and of course the added holo glitter really make this special as well. I'm wearing two coats with top coat in the photo below.</div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The <b>Cupcake Polish Exclusive Duo</b> is available now through <a href="http://color4nails.com/" style="font-weight: bold;">Color4Nails</a>. The duo retails for $25, or $13 for the individual shades, and international shipping is available. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I must say, this duo is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to try this new to me brand. If you're a fan of linear holos (who isn't?!) plus holo glitter, you'll totally love these!</div>

<br />
I have the first Fall collection to share with you all today! It's the new <b>Leggy Legend Fall 2015 Collection</b> by <b>Essie</b>.<br />
<br />
I randomly saw this collection pop up online the other day, so I ordered them immediately as I haven't seen them anywhere else yet. I'm a huge fan of Essie, but even more so a fan of the Fall / Winter collections, which are always pretty exciting, I think! I can't wait to share these with you, and I hope you all enjoy the swatches!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Color Binge</b> is a bright, bright red that leans quite orange, or maybe coral. I swear this is the sort of red I've been dreaming of; it's practically neon. The formula is absolute perfection, a definite one coat wonder. I'm wearing one coat without top coat in the photo below.</div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/20131181531/in/album-72157654203635203/" title="Color Binge from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection"><img alt="Color Binge from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection" height="800" src="https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3748/20131181531_80cb1cf2b2_c.jpg" width="600" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>In the Lobby</b> is a burgundy jelly. It leans slightly more purple than red which is lovely, but it was a bit patchy as I was applying it, so I'd recommend waiting a little while between coats. Since it's quite dark it's not that noticeable, but if this was a lighter shade you'd definitely notice. It's still a gorgeous color, and I'll be wearing this a lot throughout the season, for sure. I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photo below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/20117644792/in/album-72157654203635203/" title="In the Lobby from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection"><img alt="In the Lobby from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection" height="800" src="https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3733/20117644792_fdcc54c4ec_c.jpg" width="600" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Frock 'N Roll</b> is a greyish-taupe creme with a strong hint of purple, packed with silver flake shimmer. I absolutely love this polish, and I'd say it's very unique to my collection. This is one of those shades that are just so perfect to wear in the Fall / Winter, or whenever you just want something neutral but also special at the same time. I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photo below. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19503022664/in/album-72157654203635203/" title="Frock 'n Roll from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection"><img alt="Frock 'n Roll from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection" height="800" src="https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3807/19503022664_0b3396786b_c.jpg" width="600" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Leggy Legend</b> is a molten bronze with a strong flash of gold and little red flakes of shimmer if you look closely. This is another perfect fall shade, and the little red flakes of shimmer really add something special and remind me of transitioning leaves. It has a really nice formula, and for a metallic shade the brush strokes aren't obvious at all, especially once you add a layer of top coat. I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photo below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19937651620/in/album-72157654203635203/" title="Leggy Legend from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection"><img alt="Leggy Legend from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection" height="800" src="https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3726/19937651620_c9a9c0d61a_c.jpg" width="600" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>With the Band</b> is a rusty, brick red creme. I wasn't expecting this one to be as bright as it is because it looks a bit muted in the bottle, but it's a really gorgeous red that's very flattering. I'm wearing one coat without top coat in the photo below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19937570638/in/album-72157654203635203/" title="With the Band from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection"><img alt="With the Band from the Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection" height="800" src="https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3706/19937570638_74638e0435_c.jpg" width="600" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Bell-Bottom Blues</b> is a navy creme with a strong flash of teal shimmer. In the bottle, it appears to have a purple duochrome too, but sadly you can't really see it on the nail, maybe at very extreme angles. It's such a beautiful navy (which doesn't look totally black in dim lighting either - bonus), and the teal is a gorgeous compliment. This is another perfect one coater as well, so I'm wearing one coat without top coat in the photo below.</div>

I purchased the <b>Leggy Legend Collection</b> from <a href="http://sparklecanada.com/" style="font-weight: bold;">Sparkle Canada</a>, which I would highly recommend if you're in Canada (I'm not sure if they ship anywhere else). I have no affiliation, but I wanted mention it since it was the first time I've ordered and the prices and fast shipping were great.</div>

I hope you all enjoyed the post! My picks would have to be Frock 'N Roll, Color Binge, and Bell-Bottom Blues, but it really is a great Fall collection. I really enjoyed swatching them.</div>

<br />
I have the latest collection from <b><a href="http://www.glampolish.com.au/">Glam Polish</a></b> to share with you today. <b>The Gleek Collection</b> consists of nine beautiful, bright shades inspired by musical numbers from the TV show <b>Glee</b>. <br />
<br />
They will be available in just a few hours (<b>8pm EDT</b>), so all the info you'll need to get your hands on them will be at the bottom of the post.<br />
<br />

<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<b>River Deep, Mountain High</b> is a strawberry red holo with ultra holo glitter. I found this one so hard to photograph, but it's extremely beautiful in person. It really is a lovely, bright, strawberry shade, and it's absolutely packed with ultra holo glitters in a linear holo base. I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19365426661" title="Photo 2015-07-02, 3 51 39 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-02, 3 51 39 PM" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/509/19365426661_b860b3f95f_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19395106461" title="IMG_5922 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5922" height="400" src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3915/19395106461_4c5a193d67_z.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>Bohemian Rhapsody</b> is an orchid holo with ultra holo glitter. My absolute favorite color, so I knew this was going to be an instant love for me, and it really is perfect! It's that gorgeous mix of pink & purple, but of course packed with the ultra holo glitter and linear holo, it's just amazing. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18735390744" title="Photo 2015-07-01, 11 40 47 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-01, 11 40 47 PM" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/277/18735390744_45418a95a5_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19395105231" title="IMG_5923 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5923" height="400" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/417/19395105231_1c4d3df8ef_z.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>RESPECT</b> is an amethyst holo with ultra holo glitter. The most perfect purple linear holo, and also absolutely packed with ultra holo glitter to make it even more special. It neither light, nor dark, just a really lovely purple in between. It's extremely sparkly, and so perfect for spring / summer of course (or any time if you're a purple fan, really!). I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19170341808" title="Photo 2015-07-01, 11 59 31 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-01, 11 59 31 PM" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/315/19170341808_e7affc1391_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18768463654" title="IMG_5924 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5924" height="400" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/360/18768463654_eebb0a06d2_z.jpg" width="266" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>Rehab</b> is an aqua holo with ultra holo glitter. Another stunning linear holo shade, packed with ultra holo glitter. It's actually quite a bit brighter on the nail than I expected from the bottle, but doesn't photograph as holo as the others strangely (even though it was in person). Such a perfect summer shade too. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19366035391" title="Photo 2015-07-02, 4 36 56 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-02, 4 36 56 PM" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/280/19366035391_d371f604dc_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18768462244" title="IMG_5925 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5925" height="400" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/424/18768462244_025597a52c_z.jpg" width="266" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>Girl on Fire</b> is a salmon holo with gold and pink glass flecks. The name is so perfect with this one, since it really is the perfect fiery shade. It's quite warm and leans orange, with a hint of coral, and almost a shiny gold tint to it when the holo is shining. The holo effect is strong as well. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below, but it was opaque in one, really.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19365513311" title="Photo 2015-07-02, 4 18 07 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-02, 4 18 07 PM" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/376/19365513311_080d4a813b_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18770377003" title="IMG_5912 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5912" height="400" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/416/18770377003_428d33b78e_z.jpg" width="266" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>Take on Me</b> is a blush holo with pink glass flecks and shimmer. I'd say this is probably the most unique shade in the bunch. It has a really nice metallic quality to it, and can look lighter or darker depending on the lighting or when the holo is in full force. The pink glass flecks make it really sparkly as well. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19171563468" title="Photo 2015-07-02, 2 29 28 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-02, 2 29 28 PM" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/367/19171563468_a0a6f81fe9_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19203391560" title="IMG_5916 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5916" height="400" src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3869/19203391560_e0056ae6a5_z.jpg" width="266" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>True Colors</b> is a lavender holo with violet glass flecks and shimmer. The glass flecks are so prominent in this beautiful holo. It's quite purple, but leans slightly pink as well and also has a nice metallic quality to it. Definitely another favorite for me. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19361385525" title="Photo 2015-07-02, 4 11 32 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-02, 4 11 32 PM" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/530/19361385525_9a3feb7fe6_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19364925436" title="IMG_5910 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5910" height="400" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/433/19364925436_2510ae08ae_z.jpg" width="266" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>Firework</b> is a jade holo with green and blue glass flecks. It really is the perfect jade green, and as usual the glass flecks really give it something special. The holo effect is strong, and I thought this one was really flattering for some reason, I loved wearing it. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19362220561" title="Photo 2015-07-02, 1 43 07 PM by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Photo 2015-07-02, 1 43 07 PM" height="640" src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3849/19362220561_6281de560b_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>

</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>Take a Bow</b> is a cornflower blue holo with pink glass flecks. The pink glass flecks are such a gorgeous contrast to the beautiful blue base. It leans a bit purple in certain lighting as well, so it really is the perfect cornflower. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
I can't believe <b>June</b> is almost over already, crazy! Since it's the end of the month however, I have my nail art roundup to share with you from our <b>#WNAC2015</b> (<b>Weekly Nail Art Challenge</b>). :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
The overall theme for the month was "<b>Patterns</b>", so we had to incorporate a different pattern into the prompts each week, which was quite fun. I think you all know I love my patterns, and I was definitely in a floral mood!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19091889459" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/258/19091889459_a1e7e53068.jpg" width="500" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: left;">
First up we had a "<b>coral</b>" prompt. I had just received a lovely new collection of colors from <b>Cult Cosmetics</b>, and they were giving me a nautical vibe, so that's what I went with. I started with an off-white base, paired with the lovely coral (which really is the perfect coral), and then added a bit of blue chrome. I loved the combination.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i><b>Polishes used: </b>Cult Cosmetics Seal Beach (base), Cult Cosmetics Newport Beach (coral), and Cult Cosmetics Silver Lake (blue chrome). Tools: 18/0 Spotter by Artist's Loft & 10/0 Script by Artist's Loft (Michael's)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19281307161" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/363/19281307161_7c303f421c_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Next, we had to create "<b>holo</b>" themed nails. One of my best friends <b>Tracey</b> (from <b><a href="http://www.missbellatracey.com/">Missbellatracey</a></b>) and I decided to create another <b>#bestietwinnails</b>. It always takes us forever to come up with an idea, but we usually end up with a masterpiece .. Or at least we think so, haha! This time, we decided to go with a nude to white vertical gradient and top it with a scattered holo topper, then freehand some flowers on top. I absolutely loved wearing these!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i><b>Polishes used: </b>OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons, China Glaze White On White, INM Northern Lights Silver Top Coat, and Color Club Beyond. Tools: 18/0 Spotter by Artist's Loft (Michael's) </i></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19089751270" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/312/19089751270_44b11a1a0b_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19271380532" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://c4.staticflickr.com/4/3853/19271380532_2422cb053b_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The third prompt was "<b>turquoise</b>" which I was pretty excited for since I really don't use this color enough, at all! I also had the perfect one staring at me daily on my desk begging to be used, so I knew what I was doing right away. I just started painting lines as usual, and then I had originally planned some sort of baroque / damask design, but for some reason it ended up being another floral, but I was really happy with them.<br />
<br />
<i><b>Polishes used</b>: China Glaze White On White, China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle, Nubar Black Nail Art Polish. Tools: 18/0 Spotter by Artist's Loft & 10/0 Script by Artist's Loft (Michael's)</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19271323822" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://c4.staticflickr.com/4/3863/19271323822_439ef69b04_z.jpg" width="492" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19271313552" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/470/19271313552_5318ec05b8_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The final prompt of the month was "<b>glitter</b>". This was an interesting one for me, since I was really uninspired. I tried several designs, but nothing was really working for me. I ended up looking through the polishes I've never used and chose this stunning glitter (which I can't believe I had never used now!). It's the loveliest mixture of purple microglitter and extremely dense, so it just required two easy coats. I almost didn't want to cover it!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
That said, it inspired me to create another floral of course, but this time I went with an abstract flower on each nail (I have been sort of addicted to drawing something similar in my sketchbook recently).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i><b>Polishes used</b>: China Glaze Put A Bow On It, Color Club (I apologize, I don't really know what this one is called - it could be Magic Attraction, or Sugarplum Fairy, but it's absolutely gorgeous too!). Tools: 10/0 Script by Artist's Loft (Michael's)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/19251174986" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://c4.staticflickr.com/4/3825/19251174986_8c8057ed68_z.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<b><br /></b>
I added the four gorgeous polishes from the <b>Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée</b> to my collection recently, so I thought I'd share swatches of them with you today!<br />
<br />
I'm a big Chanel polish collector, and I absolutely love when they do more unique, fun colors, so I was really excited about this collection.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18277752689" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée terrana coquelicot mediterranee lavanda lacquerstyle kgrdnr" height="500" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8858/18277752689_ce28759c15.jpg" title="" width="500" /></a><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18438557956" title="IMG_2669 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée terrana coquelicot mediterranee lavanda lacquerstyle kgrdnr" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8852/18438557956_dee195d46e_z.jpg" title="" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<b>Terrana</b> is a metallic bronze-brown shade with the signature Chanel multicolored shimmer which you can really see in the sun and bright lighting. It sort of has a red undertone and that really lovely glowy quality that I love in metallic polishes like this. It's such a flattering color, and I can't wait to wear it on my toes too. I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18276229300" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée terrana coquelicot mediterranee lavanda lacquerstyle kgrdnr" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/532/18276229300_a07551922b_z.jpg" title="" width="516" /></a>
</div>
<br />
<b>Coquelicot</b> is a pretty standard red but leans slightly orange. I just can't get enough of Chanel reds, and this one does not disappoint. It has a slight jelly finish, but opaque in one coat like most Chanel reds I own as well. Just lovely. I'm wearing one coat without top coat in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17843256303" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée terrana coquelicot mediterranee lavanda lacquerstyle kgrdnr" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8879/17843256303_b2e402d660_z.jpg" title="" width="517" /></a>
</div>
<br />
<b>Mediterranée</b> is a medium teal-blue creme and it's just stunning. It definitely leans more green than blue, but really wanted to photograph more blue in my photos. It's completely opaque in one coat as well, so that's what I'm wearing in the photo below, without top coat.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17841297704" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée terrana coquelicot mediterranee lavanda lacquerstyle kgrdnr" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8835/17841297704_70b2572f3c_z.jpg" title="" width="516" /></a>
</div>
<br />
<b>Lavanda</b> is a vibrant purple with a slight jelly finish. This purple is so, so beautiful! I wore this one for several days after swatching it and I just adore it. I'm wearing two-ish coats in the photos without top coat, but you can likely get away with just one. <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18465737801" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée terrana coquelicot mediterranee lavanda lacquerstyle kgrdnr" height="640" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/364/18465737801_10d5001898_z.jpg" title="" width="516" /></a>
</div>
<br />
<br />
I honestly have no complaints about this collection, they're all perfect! The colors are not the most unique colors ever, but they're beautiful and done so well. From the bottles, to the perfect brush & formula, I just can't get enough of Chanel.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18466820511" title="IMG_2668 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Chanel Summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée terrana coquelicot mediterranee lavanda lacquerstyle kgrdnr" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/539/18466820511_c8424b03ac_z.jpg" title="" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you all enjoyed the post! Do you have a favorite from the collection?</div>

<br />
I have the upcoming <b>Special Limited Edition Pirouette Flakies Collection</b> by <b>Glam Polish</b> to share with you today. The collection consists of seven delicate shades with a mix of iridescent flakies, glass flecks, and a hint of holo sparkle!<br />
<br />
This is such a pretty collection for Spring / Summer, and if you love girly jelly (or crelly) finishes with flakies and a hint of holo, you'll love these. <b>Very limited quantities</b> will be available as well, so all the details are below where you can find them for the restock!<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17786565063" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/526/17786565063_1cae92de5d.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18221038219" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8893/18221038219_78722652ab_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18219386058" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8827/18219386058_1aa1637be6_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Leap of Faith</b> is a sheer turquoise crelly with iridescent flakies, glass flecks, and a hint of holo sparkle. I was probably most excited about this one when I opened this collection, and it didn't disappoint. I'd say the flakies stand out the most in this one, plus the color is so lovely! I'm wearing two coats in the photos (one thin, one thicker) and you can see a bit of my nail line, but you couldn't in person.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18380867026" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8784/18380867026_d124d0426e_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>This Is All Pointless</b> is a sheer cornflower blue crelly with iridescent flakies, glass flecks, and a hint of holo sparkle. A little bit more sheer than the others, but it's a beautiful blue and the green flakies really shine. I'm wearing two coats in the photos, same deal as the first one (one thin, one a bit thicker), and my nail line wasn't as visible in person.</div>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18236790350" title="IMG_1345- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_1345-" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8813/18236790350_dffef33d17_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Dance First Think Later</b> is a sheer lavender crelly with iridescent flakies, glass flecks, and a hint of holo sparkle. This is a beautiful lavender shade with vibrant purple-blue flakies, however this one was extremely hard to photograph (much like the entire collection though, really). The flakies are actually very visible in person. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.</div>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18219552830" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/477/18219552830_5242c35d7f_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>You Keep Me On My Toes</b> is a sheer grey crelly with iridescent flakies, glass flecks, and a hint of holo sparkle. For some reason this one hated my skin tone in photos, but this is actually one of my favorites from the collection. It's grey, but leans very blue, and the flakies are the most beautiful shade of cobalt blue, very similar to Swan Lake below, so my photo is a bit off on this one. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17786602833" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="449" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/437/17786602833_4ba526331d_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Tiny Dancer</b> is a sheer coral crelly with iridescent flakies, glass flecks, and a hint of holo sparkle. I love the combination of this peachy coral with the yellowish flakies, it's so pretty. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18221089339" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="427" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8807/18221089339_f987f1f0a5_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Tutu Cute!</b> is a sheer pink crelly with iridescent flakies, glass flecks, and a hint of holo sparkle. This is a beautiful soft pink with multicolored flakies that really stand out. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below (one thin, one thicker).</div>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/18397957146" title="IMG_1355- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_1355-" height="442" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/365/18397957146_5457539038_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
Finally, the absolute star of the collection is <b>Swan Lake</b>, a clear topper with cobalt flakies, 12 Karat White Gold, and a hint of holo sparkle. I'm honestly obsessed with this. It's just perfect! Over a dark base the cobalt flakies are incredible, they shift slightly purple which just looks magical along with the little holo shimmer. I'm wearing one coat (though I did dab on a few extra gold flakes) over one coat of black. </div>

<br /></div>

<br />
Today I have a roundup of my nail art from the <b>#WNAC2015</b> posts for <b>May</b> to share with you. The theme was <b>Neon</b>, which was so fun! Totally had me in a happy mood, and I think I came up with some awesome nail art (a few didn't quite make it to my <a href="http://instagram.com/kgrdnr">Instagram</a> either, so I'll share them with you here!).<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
First up, we had a "<b>half moon</b>" prompt. I decided not to go with a typical half moon style mani, and instead painted an actual half moon near the cuticle with some patterned lines over a colorful neon base. I also have a tutorial if you haven't seen it already and are curious about how I created them, down below. <br />
<br />
<i><b>Polishes used</b>: Nubar Black Nail Art Polish, China Glaze Love's A Beach, Color Club Tangerine Scream, and Orly Glowstick.</i><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Next, we created <b>Tribal</b> nails for the second post of the month. I went with a girly, pink & purple mix & match nail art design, so I also kept the tribal quite minimal and girly as well. I really enjoyed wearing them! I used several different techniques, gradients, sponged with plastic wrap, and a 18/0 Spotter brush to paint the details.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i><b>Polishes used</b>: Love & Beauty (Forever 21) Ivory, Orly Beach Cruiser, Color Club Peace Out Purple. I also used Crystalline Nail Veil from Color4Nails to minimize cleanup.</i></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My third post actually didn't make it to my <b><a href="http://instagram.com/kgrdnr">Instagram</a></b> page. I wasn't that in love with it, plus I had trouble getting some nice photos of the colors and holo at the same time, so this was a bit of a <b>#nailfail</b> for me. I do like the actual <b>Fishtail</b> nails which was the prompt, but I wish I had come up with something better on the other nails. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Second to last, we created neon <b>gradients</b>, which is always good, right? I went pretty full on to create a blinding combination of yellow, green, purple, and blue. I was so happy with with how they turned out as well. I ended up adding some random lines on top which didn't quite make it to Instagram either, but I figured I'd still share them here. </div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Finally, we had to create a neon <b>watermarble</b>. This is usually one of my weak points when it comes to nail art for sure, and I still find it pretty challenging to find the right polishes that will spread well in the water. I spent almost an entire day trying to create one (seriously!), and finally found a combination of polishes and a design that worked well for me, so I was extremely happy. I filmed a tutorial for these as well, so I hope you enjoy it!</div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<a href="http://www.glampolish.com.au/"><b>Glam Polish</b></a> just released the second part of the gorgeous <b>Knockout</b> <b>Collection</b> recently, which features nine new shades with a strong holo effect and lots of ultra holo glitter. I didn't swatch the first part, but they were so beautiful & bright, so I'm excited to share this second half with all of you!<br />
<br />
Each one really is “ultra holo” (even more so in the sun!), and they all have perfect formulas, so they definitely don’t disappoint. I hope you enjoy the swatches!</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>ZONK!</b> is a bright teal holo with ultra holo glitter. Oh my, this is one is too gorgeous! If you’re a teal fan like me, you’ll absolutely love this one! It’s the perfect shade of teal, super sparkly, and has a perfect two coat formula. Love! </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>POP!</b> is a peach holo with ultra holo glitter. Glam Polish always creates the perfect peach shades, and this is just as beautifu. Two coats, super sparkly, and perfect for Spring / Summer!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>KRUNCH!</b> is a purple holo with ultra holo glitter. This is one of my favorites from the collection; it’s just so magical! The purple is so vibrant, slightly red toned, and sparkles like crazy with that ultra holo. Another perfect two coater as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>ZOOM!</b> is a bright blue ultra holo. It really is the loveliest shade of bright blue. The holo is a bit more subtle than the others in the collection, but just as stunning (especially in the sun!). It also has a perfect two coat formula as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17321264279" title="IMG_7236- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_7236-" height="640" src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5462/17321264279_d59d521d2b_z.jpg" width="640" /></a> </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>SMASH!</b> is a red ultra holo. There couldn’t be a more perfect red holo. It’s a gorgeous crimson shade, and even though my photo shows a decent amount of holo, nothing really compares to seeing this one in the sun! The formula is perfect too; I’m wearing two coats in the photos.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>THWAAK!</b> is a black ultra holo. This has one of the strongest holo effects in the collection, and it’s so beautiful. It’s not quite a true black, but that’s mostly because the holo really brightens it up so it ends up looking more charcoal. Either way, it’s stunning! I’m wearing two coats in the photos.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>WOOSH!</b> is a lavender ultra holo. Such a pretty spring shade, not too light, not too dark, just lovely. I’m wearing two coats in the photos.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>WHAM!</b> is a sterling silver holo with ultra holo glitter. To die for! This is one of those incredible silver flake polishes I’ve been seeing more of recently, but it’s packed with ultra holo glitter, and insanely sparkly! It was nearly opaque in one coat, but I’m wearing two in the photos.</div>

<br />
I have a special post to share with you all today, and it's long overdue! I recently collaborated with <b><a href="http://www.beyondthenail.com/">Beyond the Nail</a></b> to create my very own nail polish and decal! The polish is called <b>Cherry Wine, </b>and it’s accompanied by a really pretty damask decal. I’m so excited about it, and so honored to have been a collaborator in this <b><a href="http://beyondthenail.com/collections/nail-artist-collaboration-collection">Nail Artist Collaboration Collection</a></b>. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16846694648" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="427" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7680/16846694648_01b6cbfa13_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This polish really is the perfect “me” shade, and I've decided to name it after one of my favorite songs, <b>Cherry Wine</b> by my favorite artist <b>Hozier</b>. I’ve always loved damask style patterns as well, so that’s where the decal inspiration came from. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16414290014" title="IMG_3567 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_3567" height="427" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8780/16414290014_e1903bc61e_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Cherry Wine</b> is a bright burgundy holographic polish with an intense gold shimmer. It’s quite a chameleon, because indoors it tends to look warmer and almost duochrome with the golden sheen, but when it catches the light (or especially in the sun!) the strong holographic effect shines and it appears slightly more purple toned. It’s just the most perfect shade in between purple & red, extremely flattering, and the gold makes it so unique. It has a perfect two coat formula as well.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I created an accent nail featuring one of the damask decals as well. I started by placing the decal in the center of the nail (shown above, alone), then painting some curved lines with Essie Good As Gold, and a few white details surrounding it. I love how it turned out. I chose white decals, but they also come in a wide range of colors (gold would be so pretty!).</div>

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
As you can tell by the amount of photos in this post, I'm kind of obsessed with this polish! It's just so pretty, and a thousand times better in person, of course! I've worn it several times already, so I hope you all love it as much as I do.</div>

<br />
I have the last design that I created for the <b>Weekly Nail Art Challenge</b> (<b>#WNAC2015</b>) to share with you all today. <br />
<br />
The theme for the month was <b>Pastel</b>, and so perfect for Spring of course! If you missed the first three posts (<b>Simple</b>,<b> </b><b>Ikat</b>,<b> </b>&<b> Chevron</b>), you can view them <b><a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/04/wnac2015-april-pastel-simple-outlined.html">here</a></b>, <b><a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/04/wnac2015-april-pastel-ikat-nails-feat.html">here</a></b>,<b> </b>&<b> <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/04/wnac2015-april-pastel-chevron-floral.html">here</a></b>. And, you can find the challenge photo for <b>May</b> at the bottom of the post, if you're interested (hint: neons!)!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17109991349" title="IMG_8308-- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_8308--" height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8693/17109991349_cf2d999945_z.jpg" width="594" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17088831647" title="IMG_8256--1 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_8256--1" height="492" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7658/17088831647_cf951bd35e_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
For the final prompt, <b>Floral</b>, I really wanted to create a new [intense] floral print like some I've done in the past (remember those <b><a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2014/02/vintage-gradient-floral-nails.html">Gradient Floral Nails</a> </b>(<b>+ <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2014/03/vintage-gradient-floral-nails-youtube.html">Tutorial</a></b>)?), but of course it always has to be a bit unique ...<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>I started out with two coats of the prettiest, palest blue, <b>Essie Find Me An Oasis</b>, then added a very simple white pattern all over the nails. They're just little dots and leaves, but it looked so cute I had to show you them alone too.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17108379078" title="IMG_7707-- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_7707--" height="601" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8806/17108379078_b4c46a5464_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
Once the first pattern was complete, I started on the <i>real</i> floral print which I used 8 or 9 different polishes to paint. Most of you who frequent my posts or follow me on <a href="http://instagram.com/kgrdnr">Instagram</a> probably know that I paint with only nail polish (not acrylic paints), so you can see all the polishes I used below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16671753053" title="IMG_8294- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_8294-" height="427" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7709/16671753053_595f9c0d07_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Left to right: Lacc No. 1961, No. 1956, China Glaze Prey Tell, CND Taffy Pink, Cult Cosmetics Palos Verdes, Venice Beach, El Porto, and Los Feliz</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17290435782" title="IMG_8254- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_8254-" height="451" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8763/17290435782_5f3f58467d_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I painted a few different shades of roses, some peachy ones, burgundy ones, and a brighter plum variation, then added touches of green for the leaves. I used only one brush for the design, a size "<b>18/0 Spotter</b>" by <b>Artist's Loft</b> from <b>Michael's</b>. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16671954303" title="IMG_8266- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_8266-" height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8814/16671954303_76904b5605_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16669673894" title="IMG_7799-1 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_7799-1" height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8762/16669673894_52ec2f5a69_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17266042116" title="IMG_8271- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_8271-" height="487" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8826/17266042116_5feddbe5fd_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
They definitely took a while to paint, but I always feel so happy with floral nails once they're finished, so I wouldn't have it any other way!</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16669531854" title="IMG_8098-1 by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_8098-1" height="614" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8697/16669531854_d20dc1e413_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really hope you all like these as much as I do. I'm still wearing them, trying to keep them on as long as possible, haha.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br />
Hope you all had a great weekend. I'm catching up on my last two <b>#WNAC2015</b> posts for April, so you'll see two today, and they're both floral related!<br />
<br />
For the <b>Chevron</b> prompt, I found this amazing pattern on <a href="http://pinterest.com/lacquerstyle"><b>Pinterest</b></a> which combined chevron and florals, so I couldn't resist creating it on my nails. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17107116629" title="IMG_6549-- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_6549--" height="558" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8759/17107116629_a2aeab7c94_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I started with two coats of <b>Essie Tuck It In My Tux</b>, which is a really pretty off-white jelly, then while the base was drying I cut out some chevrons using a few pieces of <b>green painters tape</b> and a pair of <b>pinking shears</b>. I placed the tape a third of the way down my nail, then once I painted over the tape with black polish, I separated some dried flowers from Born Pretty Store and added the petals to the tips of my nails.</div>
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17293320195" title="IMG_6548-- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_6548--" height="538" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7716/17293320195_be6f29db77_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16673074223" title="IMG_6543-- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_6543--" height="471" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7698/16673074223_039a00d660_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
I must say, I really enjoyed creating these, and wearing them! They were so simple & fun, and I can't believe I had never tried the dried flowers before. I finished the design with a bit of holo glitter (<b>Ciate Confetti</b>) on the accent nail, which looked amazing over Tuck It In My Tux.</div>

<br />
We finally have some lovely Spring weather here in Canada, so I couldn't be more excited to use the new <b>Spring / Summer 2015 Collection</b> from <b>Lacc (La Couleur Couture) </b>for my latest <b>#WNAC2015</b> post.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
The prompt for this week was <b>Ikat</b>. I haven't created any ikat nails for a while now, so I was pretty excited, and I wanted to design something unique but still have the ikat feel to it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16940196369" title="IMG_6117-- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_6117--" height="509" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7709/16940196369_1e74a0ffb0_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I started with the most gorgeous base, <b>Lacc No. 1993</b>, which is the most perfect peachy nude. It's so dreamy! Two coats plus top coat shown in the photo below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16506623883" title="IMG_5906-- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5906--" height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8796/16506623883_cd65cf03e2_z.jpg" width="514" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
For the ikat pattern, I used <b>No. 1953</b> (pink), <b>No. 1956</b> (peach), and <b>No. 1976</b> (pastel mint), and a <b>"Cotman 0000 Round" </b>brush which I purchased at Michael's craft store.</div>
<br />
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16938772450" title="IMG_6032- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_6032-" height="427" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7642/16938772450_9d1fb1be98_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I created the pattern on my index nail first, then decided I wanted to make each nail slightly different. I ended up using the same pattern, but switching up the color placement on each nail. Then, on the accent nail, I went with a slightly more traditional ikat / chevron style design. I topped them with the <b>Matte Look top coat</b> by <b><a href="http://cirquecolors.com/">Cirque Colors</a></b>.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17100366656" title="IMG_6034- by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_6034-" height="640" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7604/17100366656_dc65c26400_z.jpg" width="478" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I hope you all like them! They're a bit crazy, but I needed something fun & Spring on my nails! </div>
<br /></div>

<b><br /></b>
Today was the first post of our <b>Weekly Nail Art Challenge</b> (<b>#WNAC2015</b>) for <b>April</b>. The overall theme is <b>pastel</b>, and our first prompt is “<b>simple</b>”. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17022147622/" title="IMG_5224- by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5224-" height="433" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8723/17022147622_c11f514b0c_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>I wasn’t really sure what I was going to create for these; I kind of had a plan in my head, but that went out the window pretty quickly. I ended up putting on <b>Flower Beauty I Lavendare You!</b> as my base, which is a gorgeous pastel lavender jelly. It has the prettiest iridescent blue / purple shimmer that is very visible in person but not so much in photos, sadly. I bought it several months ago and never wore it for some strange reason, but I absolutely love it.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17023957291/" title="IMG_4863- by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4863-" height="427" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7653/17023957291_5626179990_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16838628009/" title="IMG_4848- by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4848-" height="614" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7653/16838628009_4feb8dca8f_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Then, I decided to sponge on a bunch of other pastel polishes including <b>Ciate Perpperminty</b>, <b>Cult Cosmetics Malibu</b>, <b>Essie Fashion Playground</b>, and <b>Coco & Lulu Macaron</b>. To keep them sheer, I dipped my sponge in a bit of pure acetone before I applied the colors to the sponge. I really wanted to keep the base color the star of the design.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16838010539/" title="IMG_5147-- by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5147--" height="515" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8700/16838010539_5ae31a8979_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/17022452222/" title="IMG_5245--- by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5245---" height="535" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7600/17022452222_7b11cba494_z.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Midway through sponging, I outlined all of the nails with a really thin silver line using <b>Essie No Place Like Chrome</b>. I sponged a bit more on top so that the outline wasn’t as stark, then I topped the whole nail with <b>Orly Twilight</b>, an iridenscent glass fleck shimmer.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16837484409/" title="IMG_5189- by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5189-" height="427" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7610/16837484409_c0a3955092_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16836352108/" title="IMG_5166- by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5166-" height="458" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7654/16836352108_b62f9db511_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />

<br />
This will be quite a lengthy post today, so I’ll try to save you from reading a lot and just overload you with lots of pretty nail art photos, since my blog is definitely lacking lately!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I’ve decided to just combine the past three months of our <b>Weekly Nail Art Challenge (#WNAC2015)</b> into this one post because I have the separate posts saved in my drafts, but now that they’ve past I figured I might as well just do a mega post. Starting this <b>Friday,</b> I will be doing separate posts, though (finally, right?!). There are also a few tutorials for the designs, so make sure you check them out if you’re interested. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
You can view our <b>April</b> challenge schedule (which starts tomorrow) at the bottom of the post if you’d like to join too! :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>January</b> was the month of <b>matte nails</b>, and also my birthday month, so it was a really great month in general! I used the <b>JINsoon Matte Maker top coat</b> for each of these looks, in case you’re wondering. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
We started out with flakies, because really, what’s better than matte flakies? I used <b>Julep Judi</b>, a deep purple jelly, as my base, and the featured flakies were the gorgeous <b>Neon Rosebud</b> from the <b><a href="http://ilnp.com/">ILNP Ultra Chrome Flakies Collection</a></b>. I recreated a version of one of my “famous” negative space nails on the accen too. You can view a similar tutorial I have on <a href="http://youtube.com/lacquerstyle">YouTube</a> here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llWnjMDef8E">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llWnjMDef8E</a></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16393096523/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7594/16393096523_2514571e72.jpg" width="500" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Gradient was up next, and I decided to go quite subtle and simple. I was pretty happy with these nails and wore them for a while, and they’re now one of my most liked on my <a href="http://instagram.com/kgrdnr">Instagram</a> page too (crazy!). Polishes used: <b>Lacc 1995 (nude)</b> & <b>2005 (white)</b>, <b>FNUG Futuristica</b>, and a Nubar white nail art polish. <b>View the tutorial below! <div style="text-align: left;">
Even though I’m not really a fan of a typical <b>Dotticure</b>, that’s what we decided to do for the third prompt. Of course, I put my unique spin on it and transformed the dots into stripes. These were fun to create, and the color scheme is so flattering. Polishes used: <b>Lacc 1992</b> (ballet pink) & <b>2005</b> (white), <b>Essie Penny Talk</b>, and <b>Color Club Miss Bliss</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
A <b>galaxy</b> mani is always a fun one to matte-ify, so of course we included one. I’ve done several galaxies, and they always turn out different, but I decided to go quite unique with this one as well. Polishes used: <b>A England Crown of Thistles</b> & <b>Queen of Scots (from <a href="http://www.harlowandco.org/">Harlow & Co</a>)</b>,<b> Orly Mirrorball</b>, <b>CND Brilliant White</b>.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The final prompt in January was <b>black & white</b>. These were just some sort of doodles I was playing around with at probably 2am the night before the post was supposed to go up. I’ll be honest, I didn’t love them at first, but looking back on them I do now. Funnily enough, they’re also one of my most liked on <a href="http://instagram.com/kgrdnr">Instagram</a>! Polishes used: <b>OPI Pure 18K White Gold & Silver top coat</b>, <b>A England Camelot</b>, and black & white <b>Nubar nail art polishes</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
I started with a contrasting <b>Ruffian</b> mani, using <b>Rouge Louboutin</b> and one of my favorite neon pinks <b>Ma Belle </b>by<b> Coco & Lulu</b>. I’ve always loved the red & pink combo.</div>
</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I sort of skipped the <b>V Day</b> prompt, but I ended up creating <b><a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/02/spring-watercolor-florals-featuring.html">these florals</a></b> instead. I’ll add the tutorial below if you missed it! (<b>direct link: </b><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLQoH3Fva78" style="font-weight: bold;">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLQoH3Fva78</a>)</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
For <b>Stripes</b>, I created some abstract stripes with a neon / nude theme. I absolutely loved wearing them. Polishes used: <b>Flower Beauty Make My Daylily</b>, <b>China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy</b>, and <b>Lacc 2005</b>, hand painted with my 18/0 Script brush (Michael’s).</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My co-creaters of the WNAC <b><a href="http://www.missbellatracey.com/">Missbellatracey</a></b>, <b><a href="http://www.simplynailogical.com/">Simply Nailogical</a></b>, and I decided to do another triplet design together for the final prompt of <b>February</b>, <b>glitter placement</b>. We came up with a black & pink gradient glitter mani. This took me a long time to complete because I picked out the individual glitters from existing polishes (crazy, I know!). I used <b>OPI Divine Swine</b> & <b>Glitter Be Good to Me</b>, and <b>Essie A Cut Above</b> over <b>A England Camelot</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<span style="background-color: #999999;"><span style="color: white;"> MARCH</span><span style="color: white;"> </span></span></h3>

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>March</b> was the month of holo, but really when isn’t holo appropriate?! We started out with a <b>blobbicure</b>, which is a pretty trendy (and easy!) technique right now. I went with a simple black and silver theme, featuring the new <b>ILNP Mega (S)</b>, which is so gorgeous.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16806522197/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8749/16806522197_0b6c0d92f2.jpg" width="500" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Next up, embellishment. I kind of failed this one since I had a whole mani planned with more studs, but it didn’t work out sadly. I ended up with this mix & match featuring <b>Cirque Colors Gaia</b>, <b>ILNP Fame </b>&<b> ILNP Timeless Vow</b>, all three are insanely gorgeous polishes.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16826180078" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7621/16826180078_e6a55ca8a5.jpg" width="472" /></a><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I created my first ever reciprocal gradient with <b><a href="http://www.missbellatracey.com/">Missbellatracey</a></b> for some twin nails in March as well. We’re both pretty obsessed with the gorgeous <b>A England Crown of Thistles</b>, so we knew the design had to involve it, and we were both so happy with how they turned out. You can check out Tracey's post on her <a href="http://www.missbellatracey.com/"><b>new blog</b></a>, and also watch how I created them below! (<b>direct link: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldHmsJDQ1SQ">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldHmsJDQ1SQ</a></b>)</div>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16806544637/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7641/16806544637_aaceb599a5.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
Finally, we have <b>monochromatic</b>! I used an array of blue holos for this design, over the beautiful <b>ILNP Peri Me</b>. The three darker blues are all by <a href="http://www.enchantedpolish.com/"><b>Enchanted Polish</b></a>, Water for Unicorns, Presto Magic, and January 2014. </div>
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16391538664" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8753/16391538664_9e16c643b2.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I’ve added a simple photo tutorial down below, but basically, I created the outlines with a white Nubar nail art polish, then filled in each surrounding section with the varying blues and my <b>18/0 Script brush</b> from <b>Michael’s</b>. </div>
</div>

For <b>April</b>, our theme is <b>Pastel</b>! I hope you all will join in with us and have fun creating some pretty Spring designs; I can’t wait to start mine, and see them all too! Make sure you use the tag <b>#WNAC2015</b> if you’re sharing them on your social medias so we can see them. :)<br />

<br />
Today I have the final installment of the <b><a href="http://www.glampolish.com.au/">Glam Polish</a> Over the Rainbow Flakies Collection</b> to share with you. If you missed the first two parts, you can check them out <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/03/glam-polish-over-rainbow-flakies.html">here</a> & <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/02/glam-polish-over-rainbow-flakies-part-1.html">here</a>.<br />
<br />
Like the first two parts, these five gorgeous shades are packed with gorgeous rainbow flakies and glass flecks. Photos don’t even compare to what they look like in person, trust me.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16637878167/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8589/16637878167_98f6bb85ba.jpg" width="500" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Moana (Ocean)</b> is a bright blue subtle holo with indigo / teal iridescent flakies, and deep & light blue glass flecks. This shade of blue is stunning. It’s absolutely packed with flakies, and they’re quite large in size so they really stand out and sparkle. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16230199153/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8686/16230199153_60918434f1.jpg" width="500" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16218428814/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="333" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7643/16218428814_67de7057dd.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Lehua (Flower of the Ohi’a Tree)</b> is a berry red subtle holo with green / teal iridescent flakes, and turquoise glass flecks. This one appears darker in the bottle, but it’s actually quite bright on the nails. The green / teal flakes are such a gorgeous contrast to the base and work so well together. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16227796614/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8673/16227796614_c909911407.jpg" width="500" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Lani (Sky, The Heavens)</b> is an indigo subtle holo with rainbow iridescent flakes, and blue, purple, & magenta glass flecks. This shade is to die for; it’s the perfect mix of blue and purple, and the flakies stand out so well. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16642853997/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7648/16642853997_aeba7490c8.jpg" width="500" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16220836023/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="333" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8736/16220836023_b9a02f3e01.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Mauna Loa</b> is a flame red subtle holo with green / yellow iridescent flakies, and green, gold, & blue glass flecks. In the bottle, this one looks like a burnt orange shade, but it has this amazingly bright almost coral-like undertone on the first coat, that totally transforms it on the nail. The flakies add so much depth, and it just glows! I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.</div>
<br />
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16850154815/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7638/16850154815_538025575f.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Kilauea</b> is a black jelly subtle holo with rainbow iridescent flakies, and rainbow glass flecks. I wish I could’ve captured this one better, but I think my macro shot really gives you an idea of how it appears in person. It’s just so sparkly, and the black is the perfect shade (with the perfect amount of holo), plus there really is every color of the rainbow in flakies in this polish. So unique. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.</div>

<br />
I decided to finally swatch my most recent <b><a href="http://www.enchantedpolish.com/">Enchanted Polish</a></b> purchases the other day, since they’ve been sitting here for a while. I’m so happy I did, because they’re so gorgeous! <br />
<br />
I’m kind of horrible when it comes to EP. I secretly try to collect them all because I’m a huge fan, but they rarely appear on the blog because I usually “save" them for when I can wear them for longer periods of time; I know, silly. I figured I should start sharing them with you all, so there will definitely be more swatches coming - I hope you all don’t mind! :)<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
Absolutely love the holographic boxes! Yes!</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>January 2015</b> is a deep purple holo with some incredible magenta flecks. The holo effect is so strong, and the shimmer is just perfect to warm up the base. Such a gorgeous combination. I’m wearing two easy coats plus top coat in the photo below.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>February 2015</b> is a super bright red holo. I think this has to be the most perfect red holo I own. It’s slightly more jelly, but I think that makes the holographic effect really shine and not alter the gorgeous red shade. The effect is not as strong as January, but it’s definitely not subtle. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.</div>

<b><br /></b>
Today, I have <b>Part Two</b> of the <b>Over the Rainbow Flakies Collection</b> by <b><a href="http://www.glampolish.com.au/">Glam Polish</a></b> to share with you. If you missed the first post you can view it here: <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/02/glam-polish-over-rainbow-flakies-part-1.html">Glam Polish Over the Rainbow Flakies (Part One)</a><br />
<br />
This set consists of another five stunning, subtle holographic polishes packed with all sorts of flakies and glass flecks. It is <b>limited edition</b>, as there are limited quantities available, and they will be released on <b>March 4th at 5pm EST</b>.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16672332306" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8624/16672332306_812fd78bee.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />

</div>
<b></b><br />
<a name='more'></a><b><br /></b>
<b>Ke Aloha (Beloved)</b> is a fuchsia subtle holo with indigo teal iridescent flakies, rainbow glass flecks, and bright blue shimmer. I adore this bright pink shade, and the blue and teal flecks are such a nice compliment. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16078295443" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8642/16078295443_92d91e4146_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Anuenue (Rainbow)</b> is a subtle holo base with rainbow iridescent flakies, rainbow glass flecks, and bright blue shimmer. I swatched this one over a charcoal grey creme (Julep Daria). It's so packed with flakies, only requiring one coat, and I'm sure it would be amazing layered over many colors.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16698246485" title=" by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt=" " height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8652/16698246485_0fab0a2d9d_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Kauai</b> is a forest green subtle holo with red / yellow iridescent flakies, and red, gold, & bronze glass flecks. This shade of green is gorgeous. It's quite cool-toned, but the combination of red, gold, and green is so perfect. It would be perfect for St. Patty's Day too. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16698250375" title=" by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt=" " height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8653/16698250375_0e44135bf9_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Ko Olina</b> is a teal subtle holo with rainbow iridescent flakies, rainbow glass flecks, and bright blue shimmer. Such a beautiful teal shade, that's absolutely perfect for the Hawaiian theme, and it's so packed with amazing rainbow flakies. I'm wearing three thin coats in the photos.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16075931034" title=" by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt=" " height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8562/16075931034_23f44a933b_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Nani (Beauty)</b> is a deep purple subtle holo with green / teal iridescent flakies, and deep blue & turquoise glass flecks. Ahh, so beautiful. This is a blue-toned purple compared to <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/02/glam-polish-over-rainbow-flakies-part-1.html">Leilani</a> from the previous set. The green flakies are such a nice compliment, and this one feels so luxurious. I'm wearing two coats in the photo below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16672307316" title=" by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt=" " height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8623/16672307316_9770b65f4f_z.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />

<br />
If you haven't seen my swatches of the <b>Basic Series Thermals</b> by <a href="http://www.polishedbykpt.com/">Polished by KPT</a>, which will be <b>restocked tomorrow </b>(<b>March 1st</b>), you can view the post here: <a href="http://www.lacquerstyle.com/2015/02/polished-by-kpt-basic-series-thermals.html">Polished by KPT Basic Series Thermals & Nail Care</a><br />
<br />
After swatching <b>Roses for Juliet</b>, I knew I wanted to create some sort of floral nail art to go on top. The pink is so girly and Spring-ish, so I knew it would be the perfect compliment. I thought it would also be cool to paint the flowers in a "watercolor" style using nail polish, so that when the base transitions to a different color the flowers would look slightly different too.<br />

I wont write too much about it here, because I filmed a tutorial for the design and added my first voiceover for the instructions as well. If you have any other questions though, feel free to leave them in the comments below. :)<br />

<br />
I have a new collection from <b><a href="http://www.polishedbykpt.com/">Polished by KPT</a></b> to share with you all today. <b>The Basic Series</b> is a set of five thermal polishes in beautiful Spring colors. They are all lovely creme-jelly formulas, so you can layer your own toppers or nail art on top for more versatile looks. I absolutely love wearing thermals, so this is such a great concept! I received some new nail care products (cuticle balm & oils) along with the collection, so I’ll be reviewing them at the end of this post too.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16450570167/" title="Untitled by lacquerstyle, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8618/16450570167_e8082b4f55.jpg" width="500" /></a>
</div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<b>Roses for Juliet</b> is a warm pink that transitions to a soft pink (almost white) as it warms up. This is such a beautiful, flattering pink. It’s girly, but quite muted, so it’s a really nice, classic shade. I’m wearing two relatively thick coats in the photos, plus top coat.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16471716439" title="Untitled by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8666/16471716439_92afb9a1aa_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Delilac</b> is a pale violet that transitions a few different colors including blue & pink, and a soft white at it’s warmest state. I was just mesmerized wearing this one, because there are so many transitions, and it’s so unique. It’s so pretty! I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16631931236" title=" by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt=" " height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8646/16631931236_1a4b605cc9_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Kiss Me Before Sunrise</b> is a peachy orange that transitions to a pale peach as it warms up. It’s such a pretty Spring / Summer shade, and so flattering on my warm skin tone. The formula was great; I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16631932766" title=" by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt=" " height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8617/16631932766_93550ff81a_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Living On A Breeze</b> is a cornflower blue that transitions to a soft white as it warms up. This is the perfect mix of blue with a slight purple tone, and the transition to white is so gorgeous. I absolutely love it, and I can’t wait to create some nail art to compliment it. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacquerstyle/16035566564" title=" by Kristin Gardner, on Flickr"><img alt=" " height="640" src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8605/16035566564_4400033772_z.jpg" width="640" /></a>
</div>
<b><br /></b>
<b>Spring Around Me</b> is a medium mint green that transitions to a bright lime green as it warms up. The prettiest green. It's somewhere in between a turquoise and a grass green, and the bright lime it changes to as it warms is amazing. I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.<br />

<br />
Polished by KPT also has some new <b>cuticle care products</b> available, which are really great. The list of ingredients is fantastic, and I'm kind of obsessed with everything that involves shea butter (and lavender scented!), so I was very happy to see that too.<br />

The trio of cuticle oils come in a convenient pen / brush applicator, which makes it easy to apply the oil after finishing a manicure. The three scents, lavender, lemongrass, and orange are gorgeous fresh scents, and the oils are light and absorb well into the skin.<br />

The lavender cuticle balm comes in a really nice tin that slides open, and contains a lot of product inside. I'm a huge fan of balm formulas because they're usually more moisturizing than an oil formula for me. This balm is slightly more waxy than other balms I've tried, which allows the product to really absorb into the skin well and last, so you don't have to reapply as often. I've been using it non-stop since receiving it, so it gets a big thumbs up from me.<br />

A few of the Basic Series Thermals are sold out now, but they will be restocked <b>March 1st</b> on <b><a href="http://www.polishedbykpt.com/">www.polishedbykpt.com</a></b>. Each polish retails for $12.00. The cuticle care products are available now, and prices vary from $6.00 - $10.00 depending on the size.<br />
<br />
I'll be posting some nail art featuring a few of the thermals soon, which I can't wait to show you all.<br />

I hope you all enjoyed this post, and thank you for reading! :)<br />

<br />
I have a new (to me) brand to share with you all today, and I'm a bit ashamed that I've waited this long to try them! The brand is of course <a href="http://www.girlybitscosmetics.com/"><b>Girly Bits</b></a>, a Canadian indie, and I'm so happy to feature these gorgeous polishes on the blog.<br />
<br />
This new trio consists of three gorgeous holos, created in collaboration with bloggers <b><a href="http://www.cosmeticsanctuary.com/">Cosmetic Sanctuary</a></b>, <b><a href="http://thejediwife.blogspot.ca/">The Jedi Wife</a></b>, and <b><a href="http://www.nailpolishwars.com/">Nail Polish Wars</a></b>.<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Let's Do This </b>by<b> The Jedi Wife</b> is a burnt orange holo, with red to yellow shifting flakies, tiny purple flakies, gold flakes, and red micro glitter. When I first saw it, I wasn't completely in love, but it's so beautiful on the nails! It reminds me of fall with the amazing red micro glitter & gold flakes, but it's still bright enough to be a fun year-round orange. I'm wearing two coats in the photos.</div>

<br />
<b>Snafu</b> by <b>Nail Polish Wars</b> is an ivory nude linear holo, with soft gold shimmer, teal flakies, and iridescent turquoise flecks. This one is insanely gorgeous in person. The holo effect is strong, and the flakies make it super sparkly. It's such a flattering color, and very elegant. I'm wearing two coats in the photos.<br />

<br />
<b>Winter Sanctuary</b> by <b>Cosmetic Sanctuary</b> is a cobalt blue holo with a hint of purple, and a scattering of holo microglitter within it. Can I just say, perfect?! This blue is so stunning; it has just the right amount of purple it in, and it's packed with glitter. It's super sparkly, and was extremely easy to apply. I'm wearing two coats in the photos.<br />
