Polish Me Silly New Holographics & Mega Multichromes - Swatches & Review

Saturday, November 29, 2014
Hello everyone!

This will be quite a lengthy post today, but full of a whole bunch of beautiful new polishes that I'm sure you'll all love.  Polish Me Silly released a huge new collection recently, which consists of three gorgeous multichromes, and ten fun holographic polishes.  I'll have all of the shop info and their special Black Friday sale info at the end of the post as well, so let's get started!

Black Widow is a black holographic polish with holographic glitter sprinkled in.  It's so gorgeous in person.  More of a charcoal grey, not a straight up black, but it has a really nice jelly formula and the holographic effect is strong.  I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.

Blue My Mind is a blue holographic polish with holographic glitter sprinkled in.  It's another really lovely jelly formula, slightly thinner than the others so it may require three coats, but I did two for the photos.

Chasing Rainbows is a silver (nearly-chrome) holographic polish with holographic glitter.  I thought this was going to be very frosty when I applied it, but it's dries down well and you don't get crazy brushstrokes which is nice.  I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photos.

Bling Bling is a gold holographic polish with holographic glitter.  This one is so pretty in person, and I think my photos don't do it justice.  It has a similar formula to Chasing Rainbows, and the holographic effect is not as strong but it's really pretty and doesn't overshadow the holographic glitter.  I'm wearing two coats without top coat in the photos.

You're A Grape Friend is a bright purple holographic polish, with a lot of pretty pink microglitter.  This is very unique in my collection, and the pink glitter is very noticeable in person but hard to capture in photos.  I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.

Just Beat It is a cranberry holographic polish which has sort of a purple undertone.  This is one of my surprise favourites from the collection.  It's just a gorgeous color with a perfect formula and strong holographic effect.  I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.

Teal Me the Truth is a bright turquoise holographic polish with a flash of green shimmer.  This is another one of my favourites from the collection.  I love how vivid and unique it is.  The formula was really great too, and the holographic effect was stronger in person.  I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.

Tealing No Lies is a deep teal holographic polish which I would say leans a bit more blue than green. It's another gorgeous one with a strong holographic effect and perfect formula.  I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.

The Bronzer the Better is a beautiful copper holographic polish.  It has another great formula, and I don't think I have anything like this in my collection.  I'm wearing two coats plus top coat.

Rusty But Ready is a peachy rose gold holographic polish.  It's so flattering and has a strong holographic effect.  I'm wearing two coats plus top coat in the photos.

Truth or Dare is a multichrome that shifts red, gold, green, yellow.  It's a gorgeous fall polish and looks so luxurious.  Even though you can really see the brush strokes in my photos, they are much less noticeable in person.  This has a great formula as well, opaque in two coats.

Magenta Yenta is a multichrome that shifts magenta, purple, pink, green, and yellow.  It's so gorgeous and bright!  Love.  This also had a great formula, opaque in two coats.

Obsession is a multichrome that shifts teal, purple, green, yellow, and nearly every color.  It's stunning, and my absolute favorite in the collection.  It was so opaque too, with an awesome formula.  I'm wearing two coats in the photos.

I was also sent the cutest handmade I <3 Polish tag which could be used as a Christmas tree ornament, keychain, or rear view mirror charm.  It's so bright and fun!
