Spring "Watercolor" Florals featuring Polished by KPT Roses for Juliet + Tutorial

Hi everyone!

After swatching Roses for Juliet, I knew I wanted to create some sort of floral nail art to go on top.  The pink is so girly and Spring-ish, so I knew it would be the perfect compliment.  I thought it would also be cool to paint the flowers in a "watercolor" style using nail polish, so that when the base transitions to a different color the flowers would look slightly different too.

I wont write too much about it here, because I filmed a tutorial for the design and added my first voiceover for the instructions as well.  If you have any other questions though, feel free to leave them in the comments below. :)

Hello everyone!

I have a new collection from Polished by KPT to share with you all today.  The Basic Series is a set of five thermal polishes in beautiful Spring colors.  They are all lovely creme-jelly formulas, so you can layer your own toppers or nail art on top for more versatile looks.  I absolutely love wearing thermals, so this is such a great concept!  I received some new nail care products (cuticle balm & oils) along with the collection, so I’ll be reviewing them at the end of this post too.

Girly Bits Cosmetics Blogger Collabs - Swatches & Review

I have a new (to me) brand to share with you all today, and I'm a bit ashamed that I've waited this long to try them!  The brand is of course Girly Bits, a Canadian indie, and I'm so happy to feature these gorgeous polishes on the blog.

This new trio consists of three gorgeous holos, created in collaboration with bloggers Cosmetic Sanctuary, The Jedi Wife, and Nail Polish Wars.

 

ALIQUID Lacquer Angel In Hell Collection + Lip Balm - Swatches & Review

I have another new to me brand to share with you all today; ALIQUID Lacquer.  I received the Angel In Hell Collection a while back, and I know I’m super late to post them, but they really are lovely polishes for any time of the year.  The collection consists of a great range of polishes, holo, shimmers, and glitters, inspired by The Phantom of the Opera novel and musical.

Glam Polish Over the Rainbow Flakies (Part 1) - Swatches & Review

The Over the Rainbow (special limited edition) Collection by Glam Polish was just released yesterday, and I have the first part of the series to share with you all today.

The collection was named after Hawaiian Musician Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s remake of the song “Over the Rainbow”, and the collection was inspired by beautiful Hawaiian words, locations, and nature.  Each shade features shifting flakies, glass flecks, shimmer, and holographic pigment.

KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection Swatches & Review

Hello everyone!

I received a few polishes from the new KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection from Harlow & Co to review recently, and I’m excited to share them with you today.  This was the first time that I’ve tried KBShimmer, but I’ve noticed the brand on Instagram (and various blogs) for a while now, and the collections always look really fun (this one definitely is!).

The Spring 2015 Collection consists of four holographic polishes, a white creme, and several glitter filled pastels, and it will be available on February 6th.  Additional info is listed at the bottom of the post.
