Today I have a roundup of my nail art from the #WNAC2015 posts for May to share with you. The theme was Neon, which was so fun! Totally had me in a happy mood, and I think I came up with some awesome nail art (a few didn't quite make it to my Instagram either, so I'll share them with you here!).
First up, we had a "half moon" prompt. I decided not to go with a typical half moon style mani, and instead painted an actual half moon near the cuticle with some patterned lines over a colorful neon base. I also have a tutorial if you haven't seen it already and are curious about how I created them, down below.
Polishes used: Nubar Black Nail Art Polish, China Glaze Love's A Beach, Color Club Tangerine Scream, and Orly Glowstick.

Next, we created Tribal nails for the second post of the month. I went with a girly, pink & purple mix & match nail art design, so I also kept the tribal quite minimal and girly as well. I really enjoyed wearing them! I used several different techniques, gradients, sponged with plastic wrap, and a 18/0 Spotter brush to paint the details.
Polishes used: Love & Beauty (Forever 21) Ivory, Orly Beach Cruiser, Color Club Peace Out Purple. I also used Crystalline Nail Veil from Color4Nails to minimize cleanup.
My third post actually didn't make it to my Instagram page. I wasn't that in love with it, plus I had trouble getting some nice photos of the colors and holo at the same time, so this was a bit of a #nailfail for me. I do like the actual Fishtail nails which was the prompt, but I wish I had come up with something better on the other nails.
Polishes used: China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, Color Club Beyond, and Orly Glowstick. (Also, one coat of Love & Beauty Ivory as my base.)
Second to last, we created neon gradients, which is always good, right? I went pretty full on to create a blinding combination of yellow, green, purple, and blue. I was so happy with with how they turned out as well. I ended up adding some random lines on top which didn't quite make it to Instagram either, but I figured I'd still share them here.
Polishes used: One coat of Love & Beauty Ivory as my base, Love & Beauty (Forever 21) Neon Lime, a shimmery blue Color Club (I'm not sure what it's called), and Color Club Peace Out Purple. Nail art: Nfu-Oh 064, and Nubar White Nail Art Polish
Finally, we had to create a neon watermarble. This is usually one of my weak points when it comes to nail art for sure, and I still find it pretty challenging to find the right polishes that will spread well in the water. I spent almost an entire day trying to create one (seriously!), and finally found a combination of polishes and a design that worked well for me, so I was extremely happy. I filmed a tutorial for these as well, so I hope you enjoy it!
Polishes used: One coat of Love & Beauty Ivory as my base, Orly Glowstick, Orly Melt Your Popsicle, China Glaze Pool Party, and Color Club Peace Out Purple.
