I'm excited to share this post with you, for the first prompt of the August #WNAC2015 (Weekly Nail Art Challenge). And yes, I finally have a new tutorial, which you can view at the end of the post! :)
The overall theme for the month is Summer, which is pretty broad, so I've decided it's probably going to be an entire month of florals! We came up with a bunch of color combos to create nail art with for the month, and the first pairing is "Lemon & Cherry" aka yellow & red.
I was going to create a really bright gradient base (because you all know how much I love gradient bases for florals, right?), but instead, I just decided to pair my yellow & red florals with a pretty pink base.
I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. This is a very similar style to my blue Spring florals which I tried to film and totally failed at, so I hope this gives you all an idea of how I typically paint my roses. You can definitely apply this to any color combo you want.
Hope you all enjoy the video! :)
Thank you for reading! :)
