I created some festive poinsettia nail art, using a couple Lacc (La Couleur Couture) polishes from their new Holiday Collection. They are kind of in the same style as my recent gradient flowers (but more detailed), and I also wanted to do something different than my poinsettias from last year, so I'm pretty happy with them! View more photos, and a bit about how I created them after the jump!
I have had the pleasure of tying a several of the Lacc polishes now; they have such a great formula (lovely brush!) and wear time, plus they are vegan & cruelty-free without any of the bad ingredients, so that's always great! Their Holiday Collection has four beautiful shades, a shimmery pinkish-purple, a bright red with golden shimmer, a silver chrome (one-coater!), and a golden butterscotch shade (totally reminds me of those butterscotch candies).
I decided to start with two coats of 2008 (gold) as my base, then the poinsettias were painted using 1943 (red). I added a tiny gold stud in the middle of each flower, and some leaves using The Body Shop Green. Everything was painted using my favorite La Corneille 18/0 Script brush from Michael's.
I'm working on another fun holiday design with 1955 (pinky-purple) and 2007 (silver) too, so that should be up in the next few days.
Lacc (La Couleur Couture) is available at 710 Shoppers Drug Mart locations across Canada, where they retail for $12.99 each. Check out their Retailers page for international shipping options as well.
I hope you all enjoyed the post, and thank you so much for reading! :)

Poinsettias are my favorite. This looks exactly like my favorite wrapping paper. Gorgeous, so gorgeous. Maybe I'll muster some courage to try this next year!
