Colors by Llarowe I Love Candy Corn Halloween 2014 Swatches & Review

Friday, October 10, 2014
Hi everyone!

Colors by Llarowe has an amazing Halloween trio this year, which will restock today over on their shop.  I will be sharing my swatches of the collection with you today, which consists of two holographic jelly polishes, and a metallic polish packed with flakes.  I believe it's the final time this set will be available, so grab them if you can, before they're gone!

Punkin' is a pumpkin orange holographic jelly.  This is a really beautiful warm orange, with a great holographic effect.  Since it's a jelly, it's slightly sheer, but it covered well in two coats.  I am not wearing top coat in the photo below, as the jellies dried very shiny.

Witchipoo is a warm yellow holographic jelly.  I really love the effect and even the color of this one, but it's a bit sad on my long nails, because I have such a visible tips.  As you can tell, it's quite sheer; I had to apply four thin coats, and while the end result isn't too bad (and dried fast), four coats is a lot for it to still have such a visible line.  That said, I'm sure this is probably amazing on shorter nails, so keep that in mind.

What Knockers! is a blackened charcoal metallic polish, packed with coppery orange flakes.  I saved the best for last, because this one is so awesome, and perfect for this time of year.  The flakes are so beautiful in person, and seem to almost shift a bit red in the light.  Just gorgeous.  I'm wearing two coats in the photo, and one coat of top coat smoothed it out really nicely.

The Colors by Llarowe Halloween 2014 Trio will be available today at 12:00pm MDT and again at 7:00pm MDT.  There will also be a preorder for their Fall 2014 collection (which is insanely gorgeous), and I should have my swatches up a bit later on today, so stay tuned!

I hope you all enjoyed the swatches, and thank you for reading! :)

Halloween NOTD: Incoco Fright Night Appliqués

Thursday, October 31, 2013

Happy Halloween!

I'm just squeezing in a quick post before it's over, but of course I had to wear another set of Incoco Fright Night nail appliqués for Halloween today.

This time, I chose one of the really pretty orange and black glitter-based appliqués called Fright Night.  The entire appliqué is made of a super sparkly orange glitter, and they are printed with black bats, houses, and gravestones.  I love how shiny they are!

I will note that these ones were a bit more difficult to apply than the previous ones I reviewed.  You can't stretch them as much since they seem to break easily, so I did not get as precise with the fitting as the other appliqués I've worn.  They were still very quick to apply which was perfect since I didn't have much time for nail art today.

Incoco Nail Polish Appliques retail for $8.99 and you can purchase them at incoco.com!

Incoco Halloween 2013 Fright Night Collection: Spooktacular Nail Appliques Review

Monday, September 30, 2013

Incoco's Fright Night Collection for Halloween 2013 consists of four adorable Halloween designs.  Two of them are a gorgeous combination of orange and black glitter (Fright Night and After Dark), and the remaining two glow in the dark (Bone Rattling and Spooktacular)!  I was so excited opening this package, and I have taken quite a few photos, so I'm sure you will see why!

Bone Rattling, Spooktacular, After Dark, and Fright Night

They glow extremely bright!  I held them under a light for a few seconds before taking this photo, and that is all that was needed!

The first set I decided to try was Spooktacular.  The little ghosts have the most adorable smiley faces; so precious!  They were easy to apply (like previous Incoco appliqués I've tried), and the ghosts are also the perfect size so you get a good amount of them on each nail.

The Spooktacular design still looks amazing in its normal state, but of course, the glow just makes these appliqués incredible:

Incoco appliqués are so much fun, especially for special occasions, and this collection is indeed Spooktacular!  I cannot wait to try the other three designs.  I won't lie, I would probably wear these whether it is Halloween or not, but I will definitely be wearing another set on Halloween night!

The Fright Night Collection will be available on October 2nd at www.incoco.com.  Incoco Nail Polish Appliqués retail for $8.99.

Thank you for reading! :)
